Apparently, somebody does read my blog (I was under the impression that only four people on earth knew of its existence). Out of respect for a friend, the hilarious Hughes Hubbard reception story has been removed. For those of you from Hughes coming to gawk, sorry to disappoint.
For those offended (and who obviously have "the goods" on me after two years of cohabitation--I mean, I'm a selfish, couch-dwellin', beer-swillin' slob--there's plenty of material there), feel free to reply in kind with a funny story of your own. I will post it.
